What, would you prefer I compress the video to an AVI or something? Look, keeping it in the exact format as present on a BD means you have two streams, Audio/Video, and MKV solves that most easily. Don't have a PC that will play a 1080P worth a shit? Get something better.

Hmm. There is no way possible there are more then 2 seeds on this. Two of the seeds have to be "fake" .. how the heck do they pull that off..

Get a clue guys... MKV is a container, not a "format." I don't even know where you people start off... there's no such thing as "format" regarding video file extensions. Mentioning "format" implies NTSC/PAL/ATSC/etc. It's all just nomenclature, I suppose... but learn to speak properly before you decide to rip on somebody else's work.
The MKV container holds the video/audio/sub streams and multiplexes them. If you're all that picky, then learn how to demux them and create another file in a container of your choice. It's not hard, there are plenty of click-and-wait programs out there that can do it for you.

I have Mac and I have no problem to play MKV in QuickTime using http://perian.org/
actually If you open MKV with Quicktime you can just demux/Mux (ReMux) it with the selected tracks (Audio + Video) to MOV file (in Quicktime you go to WINDOW then select SHOW MOVIE PROPERTIES) then you can extract or delete the tracks)
I done that many times and it worked perfectly
also you can always use VLC top play it on MAC ;-)

New to blueray stuff... just got a bd writer and want to know if i can write the dl to a blank and play it on my sony blueray player?? is this possible with the file here?? tks Tim
