It's for WBFS formated Discs like Harddrives and USB Sticks.
So if you want to use your harddrive (an external one of yourse:P) or USB Stick for something else than wii games too, then don't format it WBFS
If you invest the 20 bucks on a 16 or even 32 GB storage media, then format it properly, there is no way to enjoy pirated games any better

just make partitions thats what i done, one for films and music, one for wii apps and emulators like snes9x and a WBFS partition just for games.
