This is a 32bit x86 Vista Ultimate .iso upload for the noobs among us. Just download,burn to disk and CLEAN install it. This is a Dell OEM version with NO BIOS issues. This is not an upgrade version. There are no cracks or patches and it doesn\'t need a product key. It is a GENUINE Vista. You can update it and validate it. You can put it on ANY x86 archetecture computer be it desktop or laptop. I have personnaly installed it on three laptops and six desktops of varying makes and models and of varying vintages. Please leave comments and seed it for others. rt37, all you have to do once you have burnt the .iso file to disc(DVD-R) is open your cd tray and pop it in. Then restart your laptop. most modern laptops are already set up to boot from the CD/Rom drive first. If yours doesn't automatically boot from that drive then you wil have to enter either boot setup or CMOS(Bios Setup) and change the boot order. then save your changes(CMOS) and restart the computer. Windows Setup will then do its thing and offer you two choices either upgrade(disabled on this Vista. or a clean install. Choose clean install. Windows will find your XP partition and offer you a choice of partitioning methods. Choose to set up Vista on the XP partition. It will then reformat and install Vista on the XP partition. This is the easiest scenario for a noob.

no problem rt37! it is not as hard as it sounds. remember it is almost impossible to really screw up your computer unless you are trying to overclock your processor. worse come to worst you just have to reinstall your XP. Remember you HAVE to have at least a gig of RAM and about 20 gigs of free hard drive space on your machine. Ultimate is a real resource hog. The other Vista flavors are less so. I recently installed this Ultimate on a 8 year old desktop and it is running just fine. o and it is nice if you have a 1 gig+mghz processor. the_nakaii

Same for me no iso or corrupted file won´t boot. No way to see any files on the dvd nor the iso file.

I used Nero Express to burn it to disc. Your burning program must be capable to burn image files. I recommend the use of Nero 7 or higher.

you noobs! you cannot burn this iso file as a data disc. You cannot open it! Burn it as a .iso file. It is a IMAGE FILE!! Use any burning suite that supports the burning of an IMAGE FILE such as .iso

You should use magic iso, ultra iso or power iso to read iso file... Like said before u must burn it on a dvd as an iso file and not as a data file, then boot on your dvd drive to install (press F2 on your pc to change boot order in bios when booting)... I'm trying to downloas it but it'll take a will with only 2 seeders...

ISO did not work, was not recognized by PowerISO. Tried to burn it with Nero, but nothing happened when I put it back in after finishing, it basically thought the drive was still empty.
