Hardcoded subs will go away if you delete the srt file. I converted this to dvd, and the subs are hardcoded into it. I deleted the srt file and was just watching the movie without the hardcoded subs.

This is the best copy around, for now. For those who want perfect quality...go to the teathers or wait for a dvdrip. All I can see, is thx a 1000 times @ DUQA-TEAM! The subs are NOT hard coded, just delete the .srt file if you want to watch it without subtitles. The subtitles will show up in some players because they recognize this file as a subtitle ( vobsub does this too, that's why its designed for ).

Anyone any idea why I cant burn this to a dvd? Have tried Nero, Roxio and ConvertX. Media player wont play this even with lots of codec packeages installed (Divx etc) Only thing which I can mange to view this with is Vuze's media player. I can usually watch pretty much anything but this movie was horrible(not the quality...quality is V8/10 A10/10 R5 NOT a DVDRip) the movie was really confusing, unoriginal compared to Saw 1-4, and since the two main characters looked and sounded the same I was constantly trying to figure out what the fuck was going on lol, but the quality was alright so nice job...and decide for yourself whether it's a good movie or not

new region 5 laws have them releasing dvds over there earlier than in the united states.
(to help fight piracy. haha :)
and aXXo only does dvd rips so he wont upload anything until he can get it on dvd. and if he doesnt have the newer movies im guessing he doesnt live in region 5. (russia, south asia, africa). so if your looking for a dvdrip and it says "R5" its probably real.

An R5 is a warez release, made with a telecine machine from an analog source. Unlike a TC, the digitization is performed by the studio itself with very professional (and expensive) equipment and usually from the original source. The purpose of it is to create a high quality digital copy (usually for a later DVD release). But unlike a DVD, an R5 is released before the digital post-processing is finished. The quality of the rips can differ, but an R5 can be almost indistinguishable from a DVDRip since many movies are published on DVD with minimal editing.
The name R5 refers to DVD Region 5, which includes the former Soviet Union, the Indian subcontinent, and much of Africa. In an effort to compete with movie piracy in these areas, the movie industry chose to create a new format for DVD releases that could be produced more quickly and less expensively than traditional DVD releases. R5 releases differ from normal releases in that they lack both the image post-processing and special features that are common on DVD releases. This allows the film to be released for sale at the same time that DVD Screeners are released. This is not a R5 DVDRIP, it is a TC (Thats Telecine not Telesync) which is alot higher quality then a TS. It is still good quality compared to DVDRIP but has a small amount of noticable artifacting if you watch it in the dark. Still fine to watch, and I still want to give big thanks to DUQA for the release. :)

By your use of the term "RDQ" rather than stating in the title that it's an R5 makes it clear that it is nothing more than a cheap deception to trick people into downloading your crappy torrent.

First of all the R5 dvd's never seem to have the same picture quality as the "real" releases. However the main lack of quality in these lie within the audio since that's been stripped from some crappy cam or TS version.

R5 is like people above stated Region 5, which includes most of africa and asia. That's why the audio has been replaced. It is a DVD-code, so the video-quality should be the same.
