Go to this torrent,

Download and copy it into
C:\Program Files\Rosetta Stone\Rosetta Stone V3
Double click and click patch.
When it asks you to activate, click activate now and enter all x's for the code. Next, activate by phone and enter all 1's for the activation code.
This should work if you have version 3.

HOwever, there is the FNInterface.dll which is a replacement for it and this should be cracked to validate the 3 new languages (JP, CH, IR)
Waiting patiently for Green Celery to do it for us.
Well, 5+6 lessons in units 1 and 2 and a couple in units 3 and 4 should be enough learning for a few month for as a new language....

For those that are new to this....
I've spent the last couple of hours getting all this up and running on my PC, so I'll do my best to explain how to do it.
1. First you need the Rosetta Stone v3 application:

Install the program, and remember where it is (should be in C:\Program Files\Rosetta Stone\Rosetta Stone V3).
2. Then you need the NEW patch for Rosetta Stone v3.2.11 :
GO TO: rapidshare dot
(just make sure you substitute the word dot for an actual period, with no spaces before or after).
Sorry about the craziness but the spam filters here would probably junk this comment if it has an outside link....
Anyways, download that file unzip it and drop it into the folder that Rosetta stone is installed in. double click the patch file, then click the patch button in the open window. It should say everything is good. And then you are done with getting Rosetta Stone installed and also getting around the product key crap.

Now for the language files...
3. Download and install the free program DAEMON Tools Lite, explanation of what is does below.
search google for it or get it here:

once you have any of the language files downloaded (preferably .iso files) you will need a way to get Rosetta Stone to "see" them. An .iso file in this case is basically an exact copy of the Language CD. DAEMON Tools is a program that acts essentially simulates a cd/dvd drive. By that I mean that with it running and pointed to an .iso file (called Mounting), it will look like you have another CD drive in your computer. When installed you can mount the language files that you downloaded so that Rosetta Stone thinks that you have the proper cd in your cd/dvd drive.
With DAEMON Tools installed you should run the program, this will put a small red lightning bolt icon in your system tray (normally in the bottom right of screen). Left click the red icon, then click on the empty device. A dialog box should pop up asking you to point it to the .iso file that you want to mount. once you have located that file and clicked ok your computer will show an additional drive and once you start Rosetta Stone you should be able to select the add a language option and it will install all the necessary files.

i have one question, the language files, can u just break the iso open and put the files in the installation folder of rosetta stone and have it run from there, rather than having to mount an iso every time???

Advantage of that: content can be updated (like Arabic, recently). Even if your product is not activated!

Has anybody been able to get this to work on a mac? I've installed the RS App and the Japanese language packs but can't get past the product activation. The patch that people have been talking about is a .exe file that won't work with macs (as far as I know). Thanks.

if you're running on windows all you have to do is download the patch and run it. There's instructions and a link to the download in the comments for this torrent. I'm running it under windows XP on my mac now and it works fine. I hate using pissing windows instead of mac OS. :-(

Ok I put the licensing file in the rosetta stone and did not update it so I do not need the activation codes. But now I cannot find any japanese levels for it that will work for just v3. should I attempt to download a v3.2 rosetta stone and replace the licensing with the crack?

hi im trying to isntall the japanese 3.2 but i keep getting a bsod dring hte end of the install. also during the install nod 32 says tghere is trojans being installed. i have also tried to install it with nod disabled and still get a bsod. does thsi prog require any speacial services to be started by chance?

I am having trouble getting Japanese to work. I have tried a lot of languages and they all work except for Japanese and Chinese. I get to the point where I am selecting a language to install and it will show Japanese, but once I select it it gives me an error message. I have downloaded and tried about 8 different threads and I always get the same problem. What should I do?
