the "spoiler" isn't really a plot spoiler... it was in the newspaper, too. But regardless, the event in question occurs early, unambiguously at the very start of the episode.

Oh, and if anyone is wondering at the suddenness of what happens in the episodes (not going to say what)... look on the wikipedia page for this episode. It wasn't originally going to happen, they had to write it in fast. That's why it feels a bit weird.
