It is however true that the CIA didn't exist during WW2, at that time there was the OSS (Office of Strategic Services). But the CIA was also involved as it took over the OSS' duties. The analysis of Hitler was continued by them into the 1950s.
For those interested, a book authored by Mr. Eberle and Mr. Uhl is available based on a Soviet report by the MVD ('til 1946 known as the NKVD):
