Razor did a Proper crack. They weren't late. They were the first.
Shit like YASU, loaders, "disconnect your drives" and mini images are patches at best.

Has anyone found a way around needing to sign up to this "rockstar games social club" and needing a valid cd key to save? I can play the game fine but I can't save. I figure there must be another way to save since otherwise there would be no reason for all of these GTA4 torrents other than to waste thousands of peoples' time with 13 gig torrents.

Hey guys. I just downloaded this game and i followed the instructions that were given and the game works for me - have been playing for a few hours now with no problems.
It took me around 22 hours to download with an average speed of 177kb/s - not great but it did fluctuate alot - i am currently seeding for all you guys who are still downloading.
As for the installation, I havent had any errors. I copied the files from the crack folder on disk 1 into the actual game folder and the game loaded.
The game did not ask for a cdd key from me, i dont know why it asked one from you guys. Um I run vista and for any problems i usually run as admin all my programs to be on the safe side ( I dont know whether that helps).
For people having trouble installing, i.e. cant insert the 2nd disk cause it cant find the setup.exe, click on disk 2 then click on the folder in the disk, then press ok. That should fix it.
But yeah all i wanted to say is that this 100% works, just follow the instructions below and you should be ok.
