To install on Windows 7
1) download torrent.
2) download DAEMON Tools Lite (you will need this to mount your images)
3) REBOOT computer in SAFE MODE. (For some reason, installer won't work unless you are in safe mode)
4) Mount Disk 1 with Daemon Tools, hit play, allow it to start install wizard
5) when prompted, alt+tab to Daemon tools, mount disk 2, go back to install wizard and hit ok.
6) repeat for disk 3.
7) Reboot computer normally
8) Open up disk 3 in daemon tools, view files, open crack folder, copy Wiz8.exe
9) Locate the wizardry 8 folder. unless otherwise specified, this is probably located in C:Program Files (x86)SirtechWizardry 8
10) Rename old executable (eg, wiz8 -> wiz8.old) and paste disk 3's executable into file.
11) double click on your new executable and play.

Looks like it has been some time. I love the game. Destroyed it 10 years ago, but am having a problem getting the game to function at ascension peak. Crashes consistently. Seriously, I played the game until my computers red laser destroyed the third disc. Any feedback on this problem? Thanks!
