It says " File exceeds the file system size limit" Well that's not true because I have 100 GB left on my external hard drive. This can't possible be more then that, so...whats the deal?? Can someone help me with my problem thank you

@lawler69: You need to format your hard drive using ntfs instead of fat32. If you only have one drive I suggest you buy a new hdd and format it to ntfs.

Personally I store them on an external hard drive and connect it to my laptop, which i then connect to my tv with an hdmi cable. Either that or i just watch them on my computer.

type "mkv merge" to google. u can split mkv files as many parts as u wish w/o converting or quality getting down.

get convertxtodvd and it will automatically convert it but your gonna lose alot of quality but its still gonna look great

I used to hate MKV files when I was burning lots and lots of "good enough" quality films. Now that I'm going back and getting select films in good quality, MKV is my friend.

I do know how to handle mkv in that sense. The problem is how are you storing this (splitting it up is not even thinkable). I used to back up movies into single layer blank media till now... So I?m wondering if you are deleting the movies after watching without any hesitate.
