It works fine with softmod. if you're getting green screen, you need the new NeoGammea loader and possibly a different cISO - cIOS38_rev13 (not version "B"). Google is your friend.
Try this.

Google for green screen. My sims racing and Staff of kings does the same thing.

Tried to load it using USB Loader 1.5 (Waniniko's)
Got an error "Unknown entry, cannot handle it" or something similar to that.
Then, I tried booting it up again using USB Loader and I got a green screen.
Tons of other games have worked perfectly, just not this one.
Something's wrong with the .iso
I think I'd rather download a proper version of it.

Nothing is wrong with the iso at all, it works perfectly fine. You just need to do some updating to your Wii.

Okay so I got the dreaded green screen... Excuse my ignorance, but I am a little new to this. I appreciate any help anyone can give.
First, I am running a softmod wii via twilighhack-to HBC-to HBB. Installed Gator v3 Channel via SD. I use IMGBurn at 4x with dvd-R.
Please help!!

Check my post above and download and install the channel in the link instead of the gator one. As far as the game freezing and the "don't hit shit while you're playing"screen, it does it every once and a while. just power down your console and turn back on and try again. This has always worked for me. This .iso works just fine.

Okay so I was on rev 10 and just up'd to Rev13 (not "b"), per your post. I also downloaded the neogammar4rc2.wad, but that is where I am stuck. Where do I put it? I tried to put it in the apps folder on my SD..no luck...in my wad loader...no luck!
Also, I actually have a version of Backup Launcher (GAMMA v0.3. IOS 249) on my HBC (BTW how do I get this new version as it's own channel like the Gator Channel I have now?) that I got somewhere online and never knew what it was for...till now, maybe. So when I tried to load Ghostbusters it gave me a blue screen and the #002 Error. All the times before I was getting the 'dreaded green screen'
...so what next?

Fuck! Now I am getting the Error #002 on my WII Gator Channel with games that use to work. SHould I go up to rev13b or back down to rev10 where everything worked?

I was originally getting the green screen, but have since gotten rid of it. Here is what I did:
1. Installed cIOS38_rev13
2. Installed USB Loader GX
At this point I was just getting a black screen. But I persisted!
3. Turned on Error 002 protection or override or something. It is in the options of USBLoader GX.
From here the game worked.

I am trying to get it running of DVD-R. If thats what you are using, DVD-R, can you please tell me where to get that USB Loader you are using?
Also, you are running rev13 or 13b?

UPDATE: My Wii won't power on today, NO LED or response period, tried diff outlets..trying to find a small 3amp fuse to replace the one in power supply...hopefully it works!

UPDATE: I figured out how to load the WAD for Neogamma and got rev_13(a) rolling and we are running nice and smooth...for now, lol!!!
BTW..I had to do the eject trick to get Ghostbusters to load, but it worked...first try!

Works with cIOS 38 rev13a and NeoGamma R4 RC4.. change Region Options to Patch Video: All, VIDTV Patch: Yes...... Then load it from DVD without reboot. AS SOON as the Wii Remote Screen pops up press eject or it will freeze. Put the game back in and it works 100%...

Let me get this right...
It's labelled as NTSC, but NTSC users are having to force it into PAL mode to play.
But it definately isn't PAL?
I have been waiting ages for a PAL release of this game to play on my soft-modded wii, but will i be able to?
I play all my backup games direct in the disc channel, but i do have BackupLoader installed. I have never needed to use backup loader before, will it play this if i need it to?
I have a PAL v3.2E softmodded wii.

this game works fine with 'coverFloader v1.0' also Indiana Jones SOK and MSR. use anti 002 fix for this one and force NTSC.
i'm on wii 4.0 softmod, rev10.

ok theres been a lot of problems trying to get this to work. i have a soft mod wii done by twilight hack
i got this to work fine using cIOS rev 13 and neogamma backup launcher. the game will not run and will freeze if you backup patch the iso. simply decompress the file (i then ran wii brick blocker) and burn it to disc. it works fine

got this finally to work on "softmoded wii v4.0 PAL" using the "new Rev14" and newest neogamma launcher channel via usb. not tried disc yet but should work the same. thx uploader for this. great game. this does work on a "PAL wii" even tho its NTSC you just need the right tweaking tools for you wii.

Game plays perfectly - no issues.
I had my doubts as this is the first NTSC title i have ever tried on my softmodded wii, but it loaded in the standard nintendo menu disc channel, and needed no other programs to run it (eg: didn't need BackupLauncher, nor did i have to tweak any settings.)

My Wii had firmware version V3.4E when i originally purchased it.
I Used ETH SOFT-MOD PACK (by Ethereal) to modify my wii, however i needed some additional tools to get around the "can't install .wads on v3.4 systems" issue.
I'm very happy with how my wii is soft-modded, all DVD-R discs run in the standard disc channel exactly as if they were originals.
Although i am only on cIOSrev7 (which installed as part of the ETH pack) i have left it as rev7 as when i upgraded to cIOSrev13 original discs would no longer play yet DVD-R discs did.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it lol!
Might 'try' the new cIOSrev14.
If i go higher then cIOSrev10 my original discs no longer play, rev10 is the highest i can go. Is this to do with the fact it was the last cIOS based on IOS36, as the newer cIOS revisions are based on IOS38? Anyone know the answer?

And how can i increase DVD-R drive speed on my wii to make it faster than 3x, as 'some' games show evidence that 3x drive speed is insufficient (original wii game discs run at 6x)

Also, has anyone written a step-by-step guide on how to get started using USB drives to store and play games?
I understand that you need a USB external harddrive, with two partitions or something aslong those lines, and a compatible cIOS and USB Loader program/channel.
I've googled this before \anyone says go look urself and slates me for asking.
Just thought i might get a few friendly pointers.
So many questions, like how is the harddrive layout set? are games placed on the hdd as .iso files still? where do you put cover-art for the loader? Where do i find the loader/channel i need? what is the latest versions of all i need?
I am a confident pc user, and have a good understanding of technical issues, i just can't find the knowledge i'd like!!!!

WHEN USING THIS NTSC VERSION ON A SOFT-MODDED PAL WII, YOU MAY HAVE TO CHANGE THE MAIN WII SYSTEM SETTINGS> TV SCREEN> FROM WIDESCREEN TO NORMAL FOR THIS GAME TO WORK
It would not load correctly until i changed my screen size from widescreen 16:9 to normal 4:3 in the main nintendo wii system settings menu.
I have experienced this problem with many NTSC titles on my PAL V3.2 soft-modded wii using preloader and loading DVD-R backups straight into disc channel.
