Significant advances have been made in Endocrinology relating to developmental biology, environmental physiology, chronobiology, photobiology, reproductive biology, circulatory and digestive physiology, molecular biology, metabolic physiology, clinical and medical biology, etc. Comparative points of view have also accelerated the advancement of endocrinology.
