In spite of its black undertones, this film always makes me hungy. I am old enough to remember this film from its opening night controversy, and how it created a renessaince for the beauty of fat naked women. You don't see much movies from France nowadays. Maybe because Hollywood is too dominant on the
market. Above all, Americans can only speak English and have no interest in foreign languages.
Anyway, nice to see those great French actors again in their decadent characters. Thumbs up for this.
