Meet Marcell Toing, proud owner of restaurant "Ratatoing" and proud star of abysmal movie "Ratatoing", a computer-animated bit of kidvid crapped out by a fly-by-night Brazilian outfit called Vi­deo Brinquedo. They make their money by tricking grandmas into buying "The Little Cars" when the sprogs actually want "Cars", "The Little Bee" when the sprogs want "Bee Movie", and hilariously flagrantly, "Ratatoing" in place of "Ratatouille". To be fair, they are from a country where the Sega Master System is still popular. Oh, boy, is this movie ever bad. The first ten minutes are spent watching customers of restaurant "Ratatoing" eat their DELICIOUS MEALS and heap praise on the WONDERFUL Chef Marcell Toing. It just. Doesn't. End. Until it does, when Marcell and his horrible little friends SUIT UP FOR ADVENTURE (I hope you like this sequence, because it lasts a while and gets repeated at least once later on) to go steal "fresh food" from the humans' kitchen. Yes. He has goggles that help with this. Also, there's some other mice that want to put Chef Marcell Toing out of business, but he cuts a deal with a cat and they (the bad mice) end up getting sent to a laboratory. I'm serious. Also, those were SPOILERS. Sorry. Please enjoy this movie with your intelligent and attractive friends. Discuss ways "Ratatoing" (both the restaurant and the film) could have been better.
