As usual these days, this file does not work with mediaplayes lika ps3 or popcorn hour

tingo download tversity and use it as a media srever via pc and all but mkv should work on ps3 i don't know why you are haveing problems unless you are a lil confused on your file format also if you are getting time out errors due to media server through wmp11 that is also a huge problem again i say tversity it is free and works well
