This is legit. Was unable to download the file from Ubuntu's site this morning once released because the servers are so backed up. This downloaded in 30-40 minutes. I've used the Release Candidates and they worked great on my Dell Inspiron E1505 and they integrated drivers for Intel Pro Wireless 3945ABG.
Torrent averaged about 375kbps for me. Thanks misse-88.

@learningubuntish: Not sure why anyone would want a "hacked" version of Ubuntu, looks more like a bunch of extras are already included that are available for free anyways....

Found one solution: Change SATA setting in Bios from IDE to Raid. It works!
Not sure what consequences it has changing from IDE to Raid, since I have only one drive. I don't really care, this is only a test rig anyways...
