It's hard to imagine how any self respecting DJ would be satisfied with music in Joint Stereo, the very worst of the 3 MP3 formats.
It's not even in real stereo for a start, and has the high frequencies removed.
Stereo (so called) is slightly better, but still not true stereo.
The only format with 2 separate channels is DUAL CHANNEL, sometimes called Dual Stereo.
