My posting program shit itself today, and the goose had to scurry around with a bad wing trying to find a copy of the last segment so you could all suckle her teat.
That's what happens when I have a genuine error at my end. Imagine the damage I could do to goosey's reputation if I actually had "damn immature hate" and did something to the rips. You know the old cunt doesn't do any quality control. She just grabs my rips and sticks them up here and hopes for the best.

The lower quality on the last part was from a recode, which I didn't want to do - and shouldn't have had to either.
Something's been screwy on the codec front on my system and it's been causing problems for me lately.
Volume dipped a hair too, even though I tried to match them.
Gloat all you want schwigger, in the past I've done full 6 hour rips with commercials when I've had to and people appreciate even those. Hell, the files used to go up everyday 3pm EST or later.
Without getting too technical, it's easier, quicker and safer for me to up yours or anyone elses rips. I have done my own rips and encodes in the past but like most people my schedule at this time makes that difficult.
What I'd really like to get going again is something like YellowStoneSteve used to do at streamerp2p so we have a live source for the show - Howard's still going strong over there.

Instead of you asking me why I don't seed the show here, why don't you ask yourself why you don't get the show from the source instead of waiting for goose?
She's so concerned about her little pink skulls and all the teat-sucking comments that she gives no thought to how SHE's fucking the community with substandard rips and rips with different tags that can't be used to seed anywhere else but among her little circle.
At most, there's a bit over 100 people in this "community". There's no reason you couldn't help seed at BMT, but for whatever reason you all choose to hang out here and hope goose manages to get the show up the same day.
Those of you with Usenet access could get the show as close to live as possible. I post each segment within minutes of it airing. Then the finished version gets stitched together and seeded at BMT in an MP3 version and a higher quality AAC version (iPod compatible) that's less than half the size of the MP3 version.
But you go ahead and wait to get it here. Maybe I'll fuck with goosey's rip. Maybe I won't. You all think I'm such an asshole, anyway. It's not like I have anything to lose. People who want unfucked-with rips know where to get them.

i guess i left that to open of a question. when you are running a virtual machine that blocks the location of yourself that randomly gives you a different IP, how is BMT supposed to work? it seems to only work if you can be tracked back to one location all of the time. seems a lot less safe.

Seriously, I stopped changing the id3 tags like 2 months ago. bmt is great, but unfortunately it's hard to keep a decent ratio on dsl or cable - it's why there's so many with low ratios and they never clean house. I think part of the problem could be uppers with Fios and other fat pipes getting all the love.
Generally though, these torrents peak at 250+ seeds and go fast as hell when everybody's connected so speed's not really an issue.

I gotta say, as much as i appreciate what MG does, and take nothing away. MGS(Schwigger) Is also a very helpful person. and BMT is a fabulous site. I get the fighting between fans, but at the same time aren't your guys working towards the same goal? Schwigger doesn't BMT have enough people to where not changing the tracker doesn't effect the speed that much? I've never had an issue DLing anything.....just saying, I like you all, your all keeping Syndication Underground alive and well.

But just because someone else grabs it for others here, so what? If anyone is worried about being tracked, OandA dont give a crap where the show goes, and have actually encouraged piracy of it on the air.

MGsucks, you are gonna lose your friends very fast if your really trying to fuck up the show. How much damage will cause just to proove your null point? How many are actually gonna trust your torrents now? If you dont want your rips seeded for a good clean show, then dont do them. By the way, I checked the seeders last night, 200+ at around 730 MT.

It sounds like gooseturd is covering her tracks for when she inevitably fucks something up. Just look back at her laundry list of excuses for her shitty rips when my rips weren't available. "Technical difficulties", "system problems", some bullshit about codecs, etc...
My rip for today has been up for 45 minutes already. Meanwhile, you're all waiting for the goose rip, which you just know is going to be a mess, hence her pre-emptive strike above.

and yes - 1230. youre the one who's paranoid, i want to seed as far away from my house as possible and have measures in place just in case. the extra time is made up for by my 800k up pipe as opposed to trying to seed on a home cable connection.

Oh, pinchy finally stopped using stereo in July of '07 (someone from the Stern group actually brought up the quality issue). If you go back to your archive and listen to the difference in quality before and after the change, it's astounding.
Mono at 64kbps is like 128kbps stereo if you think about it. That's just honest advice, no assholery involved there at all. Try it tomorrow and compare, especially when they are talking over music beds, and listen to the 'ess' sounds when they're not. The stereo rips are tolerable with a crappy MP3 player and cheap earbuds, but try listening in the car on kick ass system and oof! It's actually painful!
