People don't get smarter by listening to Mozart, they do however gain a certain increase in focus and attention while relaxed. Also, listening to any kind of music while performing pretty much any intellectually complex tasks will generally decrease your concentration and performance. The Mozart effect holds up only under very specific circumstances and has not been consistently reproduced. It's nice music though, and it never hurt anyone to chill out and listen to classical music anyway.

Classical music was done by true masters of music. If people only knew what it took to do what people like Mozart, Beethoven, and Bach did, it would make people like Sinatra, Beetles, and Metallica look like one hit wonders. Composers like those named above , do not exist any longer, and with the world as close-minded and crazy as it is these days, I doubt we will ever hear of another master of music.

Most torrents here don't even list their audio quality, so I want to thank you for posting the useful info and not wasting peoples time with an undersired quality. Music evolves with time. Just because something is new or different does not make it any less creative. Taste in music and art are both subjective. There has been no accurate way to measure the "greatness" of any given work.
While the fact still stands that Beethoven was one of the most influential composers of all time, I simply can't bring myself to compare his music to that of the Beatles or Metallica. In fact, I don't believe that any two songs of any genre can be compared because like I said, it's all subjective.

That's right; Beethoven helped "transition" or change music in his days. Just like music has changed with every era in history. Your opinion about whether or not that change was for the better or worse, is not and should not be the opinion of us all, so try not to push your beliefs on everyone and pass it off as fact.
If genres were never invented or changed, the world would be a boring and VERY "close-minded" place. I find it ironic that most people who use the ignorant term "close-minded" are usually the ones who go against their illogical philosophy.
For you (Flanman1991) to salute a comment that bashes "close-minded" people, then to say something as ignorant as, "everyone in our time only care for silly songs about broken love stories" and, "techno is stupid", is simply contradictory and hypocritical.
So please think about what your saying before you say it.

The best way to listen classics like Mozart and Bach is with headphones and and totally immersed in the music. Unlike three-chord repetition music of today, classical music layered and nuanced and always evolving through the piece. In a Bolero with it's repetition builds in both force and complexity as it repeats the same tune.

I was looking through my classical music library and i noticed i had no mozart music.
Not one file. nothing.
However. thank you for the torrent. Though one disc has the song names all being "various artists"
and why isnt the artist of all discs just Mozart?
Yes i know you didnt write the disc. im just asking.
But i find it weird and unneccesary.
