Disney Animated Movies - ALL OF THEM Well, all of them except So Dear to my Heart...that's a tough movie to find. All of these are in AVI format, all of them are DVD rips, and all of them are in English with NO subtitles. I will be sharing two torrents, one for 1937-1999, and one for 2000-2008. It took me a long time to compile these, so I will be seeding for at least 2 years. Please be paitent, as my upload speed isn't that good, even though I put no restrictions on the uploads. Hi there, goddess0321. I'm the only one with 100%, and I'm seeding them. Sometimes I seed just one of the three (the two movie torrents, and the Disney Shorts torrent) at a time, so that I can use the internet to a certain degree. I will continue to seed for many months. I have these on a HDD Media Player. Have you heard of those? Very cool toy, holds 1000+ movies which you play on your TV. No converting required, comes with a remote control. Cheers!

unfortunately, all you can do is wait. this is a brand-new torrent, and not many people have 100% to seed. if you are not making a lot of progress at 91%, you are ahead of the rest of us. just wait. as the first few downloads complete themselves and seeds are made, it will be much faster. it's just redundant to ask for a seed since so few people have 100%

Hi, uberrabit. I have been alternating my three disney torrents. I share one for a couple of days, then share another for a couple of days. Do you know how many downloads I've gotten in the past 3 weeks? NONE. Why? Because sharing these disney torrents is eating up my bandwidth. If I spent 6 months getting this stuff together, and spent another 3 weeks not being able to download anything for myself, you can sit and wait 3 months to get the stuff, okay? On top of that, I have a nasty virus, and need to wipe my pc clean. I need to buy an external hard drive in order to save my collection before I reformat, and don't have the cash. I Can't even surf the web any more. I'm at work right now. When I reformat my hard drive, you may get NO DISNEY SHARING from me for a whole bloody week, because I also have 3 kids and a wife who demand time from me, and I can't afford one full day to just sit and reformat a pc and install all the software. For me, it's a 3-day process. Getting a bit tired of coming on here and all I see is people complaining, when I've expxlained my slow upload rate about five times already.

Yikes! Sorry about the rant, people. I was ticked off because of the virus on my PC, but I got a friend to help me. Don't worry, the virus only targeted exe files, so the video files are all clean. After a reformat, I reloaded everything, ran a full virus scan, and it's all clean as a whistle. I'm up and running, seeding the files, and I see that people are up to 95% finished! Congratulations! I know my upload rate is 1k per sec, which stinks, but some of you should be at 100% within the next few days. Please, please seed for a while after you get the whole thing. I really want to see tons of people sharing 100% of the file. Thanks!

My list is every Disney animated PRODUCTION.
The Brave Little Toaster was not produced by the Disney company, just RELEASED by the Disney company. That means that Disney did not work on making the movie, but was the marketing vehicle only. One exception in my list is The Nightmare Before Christmas, simply because that movie kicks total ass.

Im new to this and I have yet figure it all out. When I play these movies on VLC they are perfect, but when I burn them to DVD with Xilisoft DVD Creator for my daughter to watch the audio and video get out of sync. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.

Downloading one file at a time may be different for each torrent program. I know that for Bitcomet, when you click a file to download, it opens a window where you can choose do "download now" or "download later". In this window, all the files are listed with a box beside each one, where you can un-check the boxes. You check just one file, then say "download now", and it will start downloading. When it's finished, you can right-click on the torrent name which shows up i Bitcomet where it was downloading, click "properties", and the same list with check-boxes will show up, and you can check off other files.

okay this is gonna sound stupid but I'm new at this so I have a question: how do you seed? I know it's seeders you need to download a torrent faster and I'd like to help but I have no idea how to do it

Hi, Mimmy. When your download finishes, but you keep it active in your torrent software, where it shows up in the list, you're seeding it. As long as you can see that people are downloading the torrent, you're there. In programs such as Limewire, you have to specify which folder you want to share, and any completed torrents in that folder will be seeded.

OK, so.. a lot of these avi files won't play for me. I've had this problem many times before and I've just deleted the video and found a new one. I don't want to do that with these. Do I need a certain codec for them? I've loaded some into video analyzing programs. Some of them say the codec is xvid/mpeg4 and won't play, but I have that codec installed cuz others of them say they are the same codec and they will play. I'm at my wits end on this, please help.

dang nabit .. i just noticed after DLing the other one for a month that there was 2 .. seeding suck's .. never see more then 4 . see people complaining that they are worried about their service being cut off for seeding ? but not worried about it for DLing ? i turn my com off once a week for scanning and cleaning for a few hr's other then that it's on constant seed .. i pay my provider to much $ for them to cut me off (tv, 5 cell's, and internet) if they do i'll just get it from another company .. and yes I've even told them i do this lol . most of the stuff i Dl anyways i own the DvD or VHS i just haven't learned how to do this myself :/ i'm trying tho i DL to save my original's from my 4 kids . for example Lion King , and Harry Potter , Lord of The Rings, the kid's watch ALOT and have had to buy them multiple times due to them getting worn and or ruined .. anyways cheers for the upload i'll keep seeding till i see 0 leechers

There is 2 ways. u can either do it when u put it in ur DL program, such as utorrent, where u can un-mark the files u dont want to DL.
The other way is to press the torrent once its in utorrent, and go to ''Files'' and press on each file and then do ''Don't download''
another tip is to do the last thing i wrote and press high priority on the movies u want first.

Wonderful effort. I applaud you. And yet I still find myself somewhat upset that disney decided to make all those abominable offshoots of old classics. I almost take it as a personal affront when a good old movie like The Jungle Book, Bambi, or even 101 Dalmations is given a tack-on, low-budget, clunky sequel. (I mean, even Aladin wasn't a bad movie until they had to expand it into a plotless series of soap operas.) It's clearly just another ugly marketing stint, and unfortunately for the viewers, it ruins some of the appeal of the older (i.e. better) disney movies.

I've downloaded everything from both the 1937-1999 and the 2000-2008 torrents.
The movies in the 1937-1999 all seem to play just fine. Oddly, the ones in the 2000-2008 movies all say that "This file is not a movie file." Has anyone else encountered this?
I really don't want to have to re-download them :(

I think what happens is, the sectors that you delete media from are only unallocated and not immediately written over. So when a torrent starts D/L'ing it reallocates the space but the previous media still physically exists on the platter until the new write cycle is complete.
AND...
Given the random nature of the (torrent) swarm, you can often have a file you have deleted magically reappear when you preview a file in ANY player ( I use MPCStar ).
Since you only need the first few Kb to open a preview file, sometimes (especially with a torrent this large) you will open "ghost" files that occupy the rest of the sector and can mislead you into thinking the torrent is fake or mislabeled.
But it's no real surprise being that our programs are constantly reusing the same destination folder to write and rewrite .avi files that are usually very similar in size.
It can also help if you only D/L 1 or 2 movies at a time by setting their priority to high and deselecting the movies you can wait for.
It can be frustrating but patience IS a virture with a torrent of THIS MAGNITUDE!
Not that I think I am smarter than any of you fine people but their is something to be said for experience... (even if they were bad ones)
And just because you have'nt put any porn (that you remember or confess to) on your PC, don't be surprised if you do come across any. I have had a roommates friend stop by when I gone and D/L all sorts of disgusting things, much to my chagrin upon returning home...
Not to mention nasty backdoor viruses that can use your PC as a host for pedophile sites without you ever knowing, until the sheriff kicks in your door that is. Saw that one on the news, lucky guy huh?
Anyway, I hope that rather long winded explanation helps anyone having a tough time to not be discouraged if they are new to this. And if you are make sure you have a good Antivirus program and Peerblock (google it) to make sure you stay drama free!
