ISO files can be altered, try "UltraISO".
Its not the ISO that this patch altered, its the installation to the hard drive that it completely removed and then replaced with a 198MB file that it downloaded as an "Update".
So it didn't "Activate" my version of Nero 8 Ultra, it completely replaced it?

Its now been 3 days and 3 reboots and its all still working. It has less applications than my Full Retail Version I was using. InCD and a few others are missing. When I installed my full retail version of Nero 8 Ultra I selected to install every application that Nero 8 Ultra contains, about 18 I think? About half have been removed and I think now need pluggin codes to get them back? Nearly all of the 3D and 2D templates in Nero Vision have been removed and I cant find a way of getting them back, updates or another pluggin?
I'll be removing it and replacing it with my own Unactivated Nero 8 Ultra. This activation patch removes all the extra stuff I like.

thanks a bunch to jmb2012, i just installed and everything except for 1 thing seems to work, i followed instructions and i'm not recieving any activation prompts or anything of the sort, BUT, when i try to use nero showtime to watch a avi, i don't have any sound, any suggestions ??
