I have not yet tried recording yet, but the install was fine.
I was a little uneasy because the installer is titled "setup.exe" and i have gotten viruses from .exe's with that title.
But I scanned with mcafee and it came out clean so i ignored my gut instinct and it installed as FRAPS.
All in all, IT WORKS.
THIS IS SAFE TO DOWNLOAD.

im running win 7 x64 and will let you know how it runs.
been using 2.9 forever so thanks for the up.
advice for users. depending on what you use this for, set the fps to 30. (since the human eye cant detect anything higher than 30fps anyways) this will help keep the file sized down. then use a video converter to convert it to .avi (i know its the same format, but it will help reduce the size). and disable sound if you plan on editing it and adding music.
must run game in a resolution of xxxx by 720 or higher for a 720p HD video. and xxxx by 1080 for 1080p HD.

The human eye can't detect anything over 60 or so FPS, not 30. Science fact. There is a little comparison program I found once that shows you two 3D model videos side by side. One playing at 30 and the other at 60. There is DEFINITELY a difference. Not to say your advice shouldn't be followed though. :P Just thought I'd clarify. Thanks for the torrent Aoloffline!

Actually. The human eye sees 60fps When Concentrating. BUT. When In a Excited mode the Eye can see Somewhat of 90fps. or close near it. So the human eye is more then likely going to see 30fps as real time 60fps as hyper*ill say that* and 90 and dangerous situations
