any reason why my antivirus sees a virus in the l2.exe?

Becouse :
the SYSTEM folder has been patched and l2.exe encoded inorder for u to connect to L2pegasus.
Your antivirus sees the L2.exe as a virus becouse of the code.
It is perfectly normal.

Installing the Hellbound 2 client avast catches the l2.exe, throw it out and install the l2pegasus and it works fine. Just note that something is funky w/ the hellbound install.

I see what you mean, we posted at the same time - funny. Told avast to just quarenteen the l2.exe and complete the install. Then patched w/ the pegasus and it went through just fine.
