The Boy Friend 1954 Players' Theatre Original London Cast

This is the original London cast recording of The Boy Friend, recorded in 1954 by HMV. It was nicely re-mastered and released in 2005 by Sepia Records, number 1042 in their catalog. I strongly urge all fans of this show to rush out and purchase the CD while it is still available. Not included in this torrent are the jacket, original cast photographs and liner notes. Also not included are some "bonus" tracks -- a musical selection from The Boy Friend recorded by the London Orchestra in 1954 (never released on CD) and music from 1920's show recordings of which Sandy Wilson was particularly fond and which provided much of the inspiration for The Boy Friend. This is the show as it was originally directed and performed, before Broadway tycoons Feuer and Martin got their fat fingers on it. Enjoy. And please buy the CD!
