The end result is that you'll be using ProTools LE, but it's compatible with M-Audio hardware. Note: If you are having problems with the Digidesign drivers, this might help.

This doesn't work. Followed your instructions EXACTLY and when I get to the step to enter the LE serial, LE starts up and says "can't find hardware" or something like that and refuses to let me enter the serial.

saint_berzerker: Even if the serial is cracked, you still need the actual hardware for this to work - which is why it is provided in two versions. One for M-Audio hardware, and one for Digidesign hardware.

deviant: I have a maudio card, not a digidesign.
The only thing it says to do with the Maudio setup is to install it then delete the program folder? That's it? I can't even launch Maudio version because in step 3 it says to delete it. LOL...I don't know.

Pro Tools requires investment in certain hardware components. There is a good list comparing the costs and requirements of various audio recording programs at
Pro Tools gets a lot of music press because of it's versatility, but it does require you to put a little something into it. Try FL Studio or Cakewalk SONAR for good recording software that doesn't require special hardware.

can anybody help me out with M-Powered 6.8 and Pro Tools 6.7 ok I follow the instruction like they said but when I get step 8 and I open up Pro Tools it said Stream Manager .dll is missing and still as me for the hardware to be connected I have an M-audio Fast Track and when I try to open M-powered it files are missing
