The Secret Rituals of the O.T.O.pdf

Historically, the Ordo Templi Orientis has been greatly offended by the availability of this text. It was available on the internet here and there... until its removal was requested or forced. This pdf file MAY deliberate many of the long-hidden internal secrets of the organization. It would be wrong to verify the truth or falsehood of that statement. If it IS true, then Francis King commited the same offense as Crowley in reference to breaking a magical oath and publishing the "secrets" of the order in which they were respectively involved. In spite of the hypocrisy and disorder that existed within the Stella Matutina, I believe the publishing of the Golden Dawn teachings was one of Crowley's great gifts to the world. Why should this be anything less? Crowley's reputation shines far more than King's... but Crowley's writings were never so forcefully suppressed. In the meantime I am just curious as to whether or not I will be asked to stop seeding... Enjoy it while it lasts.

Yeah... the controversy has died down. I haven't heard much about it in a long time. I'm seeding because I am curious. There is really nothing to "believe" in the document insofar as it is history--very important history in terms of occultism. Someone IS interested, and that is all that matters. ..just making sure this document does not disappear from the hands of those who need it most and, "in this era of disinformation" i really don't think it can fall into the "wrong hands." (Partially because of the internet and free dissemination of information...)

1. Crowley was a true prophet of the new aeon, even tho he was not the founder of OTO, he did a very good job as one of it's leaders.
2. The OTO is still active and very much alive today, so there is someone that cares a great deal about this kind of documents. Not that you have anything to fear, quite on the contrary.

I find it utterly amusing that someone would feel like "OTO members" are threatened by comments within this book. If that is the case, perhaps they should quit the OTO because they follow the same rituals almost to the letter (changing only a very few things) and they certainly don't change the extreme sexism against women that is in the text in "De Natura Deorum." I suggest you quit the OTO if its offensive to you what is in this book, further - please keep seeding because for every person who learns the truth and every book of these obtained for free (and open), is less they have over us all.

I'm glad someone is still seeding this. Cheers! Since 2006, my attitudes and opinions have changed greatly. After studying the life of A.C. for many many years, I read "The Secret of Aleister Crowley" by Robert North. A lot of things began to make sense. I also came to understand the nature of the "higher" level initiations.... definitely not my cup of tea. I won't be promoting this anymore. Again, cheers to those of you who are happy to have this matie.

Also, IMHO, I still think Crowley's literature on mysticism (esp. yoga) is the work of a genius and still very valid, so my comments aren't the result of TOTAL disrespect.
