I had same problem as "animalu" in the second map. I started driving all over the map in my HumV and found enemy base in the upper left section - figured I had 2 wipe them off to complete the mission...didn't work.

To capture the prototype (or retake a position) you must destroy all enemies in the immediate area.
Check buildings for troops and do a circular patrol for unseen enemies.
BTW, can anyone SAVE during a mission? The dialog keeps saying "Wrong Name".
