dumn question.. so whats the difference between the regular ac3 audio and dolby digital audio? and does the quality is par with the blu ray disc??

spikeyspikey i believe ac3 and dolby are hooked together. The ac3 gives you closer to the original sound than AAC.

Quick question, why have you started creating mt2s files instead of MP4's? Is it something to do with teh change from AAC to AC3?
And if I could be so bold as to submit a few requests . . Cliffhanger and Swingers (though not sure if there's a BD of Swingers).

Thanks Brickop. This MT2S type file is new to me and I have to admit it has done an amazing job at 4 gb. for a well over 2 hours of movie in 1080P. It also plays well with the VLC player.
Yesterday I didn't know hwat an MT2S file was and today I are impressed with them.
Here's a short blurb from the web on the file format for those like me that must know.

.AVCHD/MT2s is a high-definition digital video format that supports 1080i and 720p with a reasonably small file size. AVCHD files are based on the MPEG4 CODEC. AVCHD video files can be burned to Blu-ray discs and played in compatible devices, such as Blu-ray disc players and the Sony PlayStation3. Various video programs can edit or convert this file format which is generally used by Sony and some Panasonic video cameras.

perfect! its really hard to get perfect episodes/movies that will work on PS3. I hope there are not really "big black bars" on any HD LCD Screen. If it is the same on the original Blu-ray, no problem.

Not dang FAT 32, and for only 4 Gb, which is perfect for 1080p I think, it's GREAT quality, and yes I have blurays, and I notice almost no difference (if not ANY) in my 52" HD LCD TV. You have to be ver, very, very OCD to notify a huge difference between this and the original versions. Always download PS3 team movies, I already have 28 DAYS LATER, 28 WEEKS LATER and one of my FAVORITES OF ALL TIME RESCUE DAWN and they looked just perfectly.
