I don't care for the .RAR uploads either, but if I have to choose between something .RAR'ed by an VIP member, and the same thing unRAR'ed by an unknown, the choice for me is obvious. If the release scene guys were using torrent exclusively they'd probably drop .RAR, but don't these releases end up on eMule, DC++, and other P2P networks? I'm only speculating but maybe that's why they stick with RAR; plus for consistency.

Perfect quality, probably better than most people's cable/satelite.
One thing about the Rar's, if you start with a file that is 178.504 MB, and then you rar it to make it smaller for quicker downloads, but when you rar it, it becomes 183.18 MB, you have clearly not done anything at all, except made it larger and therefore longer to download.
Rar'ing is best used for DVD (4.7GB), Games (usually 4.7GB) and maybe even a large batch of Txt, never a good idea for single small video files.

Get a program called WinRAR. Open it and find the folder with all the office .rar files in it. Select them all, and hit the "extract to" button. Put in where you want the .avi file to be extracted to, and then hit ok. You can then find the .avi video in the place you selected. Good luck!
