Hmm.. it's very slow (max.19kbyte/s), but I think, only for me. I'm using linux on this machine, and I can connect only 2-3 seeder at a time, and 39leecher. I opened the ports of course. I'm downloading for 4days..

Now when the Final SP3 is out, because Alien Spirit is ready for it, first Setup Windows (Alien), then SP3 update (if you wish so) and finally Apps from WPI

I burnt it, but at the setup, before network install there is a file missing. But my iso is 100% downloaded.. ?! if I ignore this warning, the setup finish, but after reboot, there is a "blue screen" and XP restarts...
what's wrong?

After setup rebooted, it's show a warning about 16bit ms-dos subsystem.
" C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe
C:\windows\system32\config.nt The system file is not suitable for ms-dos and windows applications, choose close to terminate the app"
after I click, show next warning:
" windows cannot fint C:\DSPdsblr.exe ..."
after click, setup runs correctly, but after restart, blue screen and Xp restarts automatic...

You should make clean install, do not mess with upgrade on another windows. Also burn the ISO as it is downloaded with Ashampoo or NEro at lowest possible speed

Hmm.. I rewrite the dvd at 2x speed, but in an other machine, dvd is free,there are no files on it. I burn an other dvd, that is only DVD+R (not rw) and like same, the pc can't boot from it. ?!

I burn again on tha same system (ubuntu) but with another app (k3b) and it seems like working. There was 2 error after reboot (DSPsblr.exe missing, and ms-dos 16bit app) but now setup is installing.. i think will be good.

Setup finished, and after reboot, "blue death"(xp restarts automatically). I don't know what's wrong, the DVD is OK in an other machine too.

There must be some problem with your burning. Nobody else has any problem. Did you changed anything in ISO? Did you try to burn in Windows? Do you try to setup with Ubuntu together? It must be something. Just make check one by one of possible options

Hm, I downloaded nero for linux, and it seems to be OK, noe "unpacking from archive DSPxx.7z". There wasn't any popup about this unpacking.
but.. why must use nero? I don't know what's the difference between nero and other writers..

hmm.. i burn the iso on windows, with nero, and the problem is the same.. after install (with no warning) after restart, there is a "blue death". I thought the hardware is the problem, but the XPSP2 is installed successfully.but I install Alien Spirit from this iso, to a virtual machine in linux, and it was success. So I think the ISO is ok. my notebook is ok (orig. xp works), so what's wrong ?!

Bexxter why don't you try to install in machine without Linux. If again without success, throw the Iso Alien and look for some other version lol

I used linux only to download the iso. I want to install it to an Amilo Li1705 notebook, with formatted hdd. in vmware and virtualpc, alien spirit works fine, but when I want to install to the notebook, something wrong.
