when converting my .avi's to .vob i noticed that it accepted .avi but not my .divx, just click the drop down bar, go to show all files, then select your divx, the codec still worked for me and i was able to make dvd's of my divx videos :)

Excellent software!
It's amazing - it converts a 350MB .avi file (1 hour tv programme) in around 6 minutes for me! and it reduces the file size to approx. 170MB!
bloody fabulous!!!
and it's virus free! woo!

Works great for just about every format I can find except for MKV containers for some reason, it crashes.
Managed to work round this with a quick fix though.
Use XenonMKV to re-encode the audio and put it in a nice MP4 file.
Tis free and open source :D, google it.

Yeah, it works. Unfortunately, the program is crap. You cant manually enter the required resolution and the aspect ratio is different to the preview. Unless you are happy to spend ages fiddling around with it, don't bother, it's badly written junk.

after reading most of the comments i saw one that said it had a torjan.gen this is a LIE my computer is fine and this progrgam works amazing.
if there is a vuris it is inside the unstial file. so when u uninstail the program you get the vuirs. witch is unlikey but i have seen it. to by pass this just remove the SyS file. or the progam folder. is progams
