Saw this at a local Revue Circuit cinema and I'm not too sure that you can blame the poor quality on the rip. The movie print was just awful but I was told it was they could get their hands on.

Interestingly enough, there are only 2 factors in capitalism - profit and loss.

No complaints about the quality! It is ,after all, from a 60 yr old black and white movie! It's certainly better than my VHS version recorded from the TV some 20 yrs ago. We're lucky to be able to get it at all! Thanks so much 'velvetfog'

I made the mistake of downloading this copy. I can live with poor video quality, but F'CKING up the aspect ratio is too much. What a waste of bandwidth.
