Well im not Pristine sorry. i try to use a much of the 4gigs as possible without running over.

Its common sense that the more of that 4gb space you use, the higher the potential for quality.
Brickop has the right idea. Pristine is the one whos wrong, making files that are only 3.91gb. He could get rid of some of the contrast issues his rips have if he used that extra 90mb. Im assuming he's unaware that 4000mb does not equal 4gb, and pristine simply puts 4000mb for his size limits.
