.....i will do a little research and see what i come up with. do you like kaspersky? im pretty sure my kaspersky torrent will work on 64 bit machines. and it is currently the av that i am using.

i checked it out and the install prog works on 64 bit machines. i think the registry crack will too.

I have tried installing this in vista x64 but when I open the file it says this installer is for 32 bit systems please get a 64 bit version so how can it work on 64 bit?

This sounds stupid...not supporting 64-bit systems??? Wierd! I´ll tell you why:
I´m using a version of NOD32 that I downloaded from TPB at least four years ago (which I´ve since then updated dayly with no trouble whatsoever thanx to the awesome "lifetime subscription"-thingie that came with it).
When I got a new computer in march/april of this year, I installed XP64 on it - as well as the long-since downloaded NOD32 that i mentioned. I had no problems whatsoever with any "64-bit incompatibility"!! And that´s a four-year-old version!! Immediately after install I updated it to the latest version and everyhing has been working great!
Then - for fun (am I a nerd or am I) - I installed another instance of XP64 on another drive, and just for the sake of it I downloaded the latest "TPB-release" of NOD32 from here and tried to install it... And lo, I got the same problem as some of you guys have mentioned - 64-bit incompatibility!! What the heck is up with that???
Have ESET, while more and more machines run on 64-bit systems, gone completely BACKWARDS and INDUCED 64-bit INCOMPATIBILITY on their latest releases of NOD32 - something that wasn´t present four years ago????
This is so wierd I can´t even begin to describe it!! It´s like going back to making kerosene as a car fuel while all the modern car engines develop in the other direction towards gas/elecric hybrids, ethanol and what not...
Sorry for making such a long and perhaps annoying comment, but i´m just blown away with how strange this is... :P

its not really x64 thats the problem but vista some eset stuff will malfunction on sheduled scans thats whats been happeneing to me anyway i was using the same nod patch and prog for at least a year on XP but now when it starts a sheduled scan it stops 25% in I had it working once on vista x64 ultimate but now with this new one im using it malfunctions. I cant find one that works
