Zoologist Richard Dawkins, the biggest name in Darwinist theory, had an opportunity handed to him by Ben Stein to put the Evolution v. Intelligent Design issue to rest once and for all, and the best he could come up with was that life on this planet may have been sent here by really smart space aliens?! (And, yet, I DO understand his answer was in context of Stein asking if he'd subscribe to ANY possible source of "intelligence" creating life. But SPACE ALIENS? This is the best this "intellectual" can come up with?!)
And the other Darwinist scientist (whose name escapes me) says that life began with some vague notion (even to him) that something jumped off of some quartz and became a living cell?!
Well, I suppose it's more than their original answers to the question, where did the first living cell come from, which was, "I don't know." Is "I don't know" an acceptable answer to Darwinist purists? Imagine if Einstein's theory of relativity was "E=M...I don't know."
Say what you want about Creationism, but these two guys' theories seem every bit as crackpot as the "Flying Spaghetti Monster".
Darwinists should stop wasting time hating on intelligent design proponents, and start developing more SCIENTIFIC answers to their on "theories".
The reality is, and by "reality" I mean "truth" is Darwin disproved his OWN theory when he said, "If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed which could not possibly have been formed by numerous, successive, slight modifications, my theory would absolutely break down." At the time Darwin said that, he had no idea how many parts comprised a single cell, but we have a much better understanding of it now, and mathematically, there is no way that something so complex could evolve into a working even-more-complex life form by "random mutations".
For example, for the sake of argument, a spontaneous mutation MAY result in legs developing in a creature, but in order for a creature with these new legs to be able to walk upright, there would also have to be a corresponding "spontaneous" mutation to create the highly complex vestibular system of the inner ear (about as far from the legs as you can get on a body) in order to provide the balance necessary to make the legs useful! And don't even get me started on how a glob of cells floating in the sea can "spontaneously" mutate a functional (and unbelievably complex) eyeball! I don't care how many billions of years the glob of cells float around.
SCIENTISTS should ALWAYS ask questions as crazy as they may be in searching for answers; EVERYTHING should be on the table. But Darwinists go out of their way to keep ideas that contradict their FAITH in Atheism off the table. And for that reason, they're terrible scientists.

Nice torrent, fair quality, but surely one of the dumbest movies ever made (as I expected).
Ben Stein obviously has no idea of what he's talking about, be it evolutionary theory or the process of academic discourse. He points out that Darwin didn't explain how the first life form came to be, even though that is not at all what evolution is about. In an TV interview about the movie, he took the stupidity cake, saying Darwin's theory also couldn't explain gravity and electromagnetism (which is both true and possibly the dumbest thing anyone has ever said at the same time).
Also, he can't tell the difference between academic freedom and freedom of speech. In academia, you can only say whatever you want, as long as you can present conclusive evidence for it. If you don't, you'll lose your credibility, and subsequently your career.
Furthermore, he can't go 10 minutes without invoking Godwin's law, which only proofs he doesn't have any real arguments speaking for his side. Also, Hitler was catholic, so that point isn't even valid.

BTW, I've been on both sides of the fence of this issue at different times in my life - and speaking from experience - this documentary does cover both sides fairly.
The first cell issue is really well discussed. That problem finally occurred to me and I haven't seen it talked about anywhere else yet. Were you reading my mind Ben Stein? Eh, I guess great minds do think alike...
But at the end of the day you finally reach that point on the road where you have to make up your mind and choose a side. ;)

Yeah. This movie (and many others) shows the real crackpot and crook face of modern scientists.
No "correction" subtitles can change that.
Not that without this movie it wouldn't be obvious, but just saying...
We know that modern scientists and Stalin share so much in attitude, so no need to remind us of this again with Stalin-style "fixes" of facts.
And we also know that evolutionists and Hitler share many common things too. If you have any doubts about it, just hear the modern evolutionists (aka Hitler fans) cheer or support Hitler's views. You must have been living on another planet for not having heard about those things.
Being an evolutionist makes you:
1) Intellectually crippled, since you depend on Nazi scientists instead of your own logic and education (which is often much superior to theirs, I might add). I cannot believe that morons like those get a PhD and make a career these days... (no offense for the real scientists that might be out there watching their back not to be back-stubbed by the evil evilutionists).
2) A Nazi, since the only logical outcome of this theory is Nazism, unless you are too dumb to even reach to that conclusion.
