May I ask.
If you convert a DVD and a Blue Ray with H264 and end up with a file that is 1.4gig which will be better and why?

man the time of this movie is 3 hours and 7 min.you can't convert this under 1,4 gb.

I just want to know if a blue ray rip and a dvd rip are the same size are they the same or is one better than the other
I would expect that the 8gig blue ray rip is better than a 4 gig dvd rip but that is not my point
I am not criticising just asking the question as I do not know the answer
