@ntsmarkv goto VLC's website and download the lastest version of VLC. If that doesnt work it's has something to do with your CPU sound settings, check and make sure everythings up.
I have never once had a movie not work.

ntsmarkv i have the same problem and ive never had problems with VLC either, this is the 2nd film in a week that does this for me, i think its the new version of VLC but i have no idea, nicce to see im not the only with this problem

I have had the same prob with a few films but have found that when you burn to disk with convert to X audio is 5.1 and perfect. Thanks for the up

I had the same issue with the audio at first. The codec is A52, the linux equivalent of AC3. Downloaded the lasted AC3 codec and works fine now.

AITB has never led me wrong. That's why I can't understand the audio issue. VLC, PC, and Surround Sound Audio is all turned to max. The audio is still only fairly watchable. Good luck to the people that are using PC speakers.
