Hij is muzikaal enorm getalenteerd en wil een grote pianist worden. Binnenkort moet hij auditie doen voor een beroemd conservatorium, maar in zijn gedachten is hij alleen maar bezig met zijn knappe muziekleraar Gerhard. In het diepste geheim heeft hij een enorme crush op hem. Sasha doet zijn uiterste best zijn gevoelens en seksualiteit weg te drukken. Zijn ouders zijn namelijk nogal homofoob. De enige wie hij zijn gevoelens durft te delen is zijn beste vriendin Jiao, maar haar reactie is niet wat hij hoopt. Als Gerhard pltoseling aankondigt dat hij gaat verhuizen naar een andere stad, stort Sasha's wereld in. Hij zakt voor zijn auditie en zweert dat hij nooit meer piano zal spelen.
