Galicia, 1850. Cada dÃa se encuentran numerosos cadáveres y rápidamente se difunde la leyenda del hombre lobo. Bárbara vive con su hermana Josefa a las afueras del pueblo, y Manuel, un mercader ambulante y amor secreto de Josefa, mantiene a salvo a las mujeres.
