make sure you have as many active trackers added to the torrent as possible --you do this on utorrent by right clicking on the torrent, going to Properties and in the box for trackers add as many active open source trackers u know of--remember the 2 actual piratebay trackers are down-- use:

udp://tracker.publicbt.com:80/announce
and any other trackers u know.Ithink openbittorrent may be down too now, but new ones pop up all the time to replace them.
remember to leave a full line/gap between each torrent u list in tracker list like i have done above or they won't work. you aren't using utorrent but ur software is probably configured much the same. if not ask on a torrent forum
And ensure peer exchange,DHT, and Local Peer Discovery are working
