After installing and everything, im greeted with a window ingame which says something about your disc not being verified bla-bla.
I didnt see a crack with this one. Any ideas? Might just reinstall and check again.

well my first/ second haha comment about the game is that the download is much faster, the first one took my computer 20hrs i believe and this one 13hrs.... still a long wait but, worth it i hope, havent installed yet, about to do that right now will keep you updated on changes and fixes...

ok after playing for a little bit my analysis is...
still buggy as hell! really hope this is not the final version!
it has fixed the problem with the clock not being able to speed up...
i never did expierience any chrashing with either games but they do have bugs...
i found that if it starts to bug just save and quit and start over so thats what i will do till release date! thank you anyway!

I REALLY need help. I have never downloaded a torrent before. I just finished downloading sims3Razor as well as the crack. The files unzipped automatically for some reason and after I mount the razorsims3 file using Daemon nothing happens. Should I have installed Reloaded as well? If someone could give me step by step instructions I would appreciate it as I am completely lost. I have been seeding for a long time now so I guess thats one good thing about not knowing what to do! =)

I've just played for 4 hours, i'm really happy the game works just fine...
i mounted the iso with power iso, then disconnect from the internet, install the game, copy the crack from razor and that it!
the game is great! its really worth buying it!! i will buy it as soon as it comes out in mexico's retail stores.

I checked this out. Already have the reloaded version. Anyway, i play for about 5 minutes and the game crashes?! This is odd since ive played reloaded version for many days now without a single crash.
As for "this is real" its just bs and most of you probably already know this by now. The real deal which comes out in June has a *second* town. This copy only has *1* and its exactly the same as the reloaded copy. I read something about ultra speed fix, its the same as in the reloaded edition.

hey whenever i start the game and the main loading comes up in the beginning before the main menu, my whole computer just shuts off like the power just went out
but it didnt go out and it does it everytime

pdsing530, I have no idea what it really is, but I had a problem with a few games as well with my 9600GT, my computer just turned off etc. Have a look at your video card, its temperature, and if it goes too high then you might have something wrong with that. I went and changed mine at the provider and they said that there are some bullshit videocards moving around sometimes. Then again, the odds that you have the same problem are pretty small :)

Yeah that's weird, this game runs better and smoother than Sims 2 did even without any expansions. I am using a HP DV6827 laptop, maybe it's because I mounted it to a drive rather than burning to a disc?
I have some graphical issues though, glass on some objects (ovens, showers, windows) flickers a translucent red every now and then but only in Live mode. It's not a video card problem as the game runs without overloading my laptop for hours on end and no crashing. Happy simming!

Installed everything fine
Replaced the TS3 file in the bin directory with the cracked TS3 file.
But when i play the game the graphics go whacky after a few minutes of playing.

There's nothing impatient about seeing well over 500 seeders and only being able to connect to 4. That's fucking ridiculous. Maybe seeders should return the favor and start seeding instead of pausing the upload as soon as they get it.
Extremezone's upload has less seeders, but is going MUCH faster. I should have that download done by 5pm today, unlike this one which would take 2 weeks!

actually I don't think it would be damaged since in the initial showing of the files when you first click the torrent it shows them as .0xx with no other extension. Maybe there's a setting with winrar or 7-zip that enables that extension? I dunno

Well I'm seeding to 42 people right now, I've bumped up my upload speed. It works, make sure you download the updated Razor1911 patch others have linked to. Only has one neighborhood, so it doesn't seem to be the full retail version. It plays fine on my computer, but the graphics look worse than the Sims 2, haven't tried adjusting settings yet.
For people who don't know what they're doing (although they really should google it):
1. Use Winrar to unrar the .001-.054 files, you only need to open .001 in winrar. Extract the .iso file.
2. Use an image mounting software to open the iso (technically winrar can do that too, but you have to extract to the hdd), I'm using Alcohol 120%, you can also burn the .iso to disk using nero or whatever program you have.
3. Open the .nfo file with DAMN NFO reader (which for future reference has directions in most all torrents), use the included serials.
4. Download updated Razor1911 patch, rename old .exe file in sims directory (I use _old after the name), copy new .exe file over.
5. Play and enjoy. Full retail version will be released in stores in just a few days.

I fluked upon a solution for Mac OS X users. You need to copy the reloaded crack into the directory:
/Applictations/The Sims? 3/The Sims? 3 (right click, show Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Game/Bin/
Overwrite the TS3.exe file inside this directory or rename the original to something like TS3.exe.bak for a backup incase you need it. Make sure the Razor1911 crack is in this directory and names TS3.exe
Go back to the initial 'Contents' folder after clicking show package contents. Open info.plist
If using TextEdit hit cmd f or press edit in the menu then find then find.
Search for "CFBundleExecutable", without the quotes obviously. The line directly underneath this will look like:
SIMS3-launcher
Change this to:
cider_noui
Save and quit TextEdit.
You now need to rename the sims 3 executable, the one which OS X uses, the one with the diamond icon. Rename it to anything and launch it. The Sims 3 should launch. Quit and rename it back to what it was originally and you are good to go.

I did not use this torrent, I grabbed this from usenet so I cannot vouch but there was a crackfix released for this since Razor1911 forgot to patch some disc checks.
You can download this from here:

Replace the exe file as before in my last comment.
As far as I know this is the same file I am using, only I got mine with the download. Try this and see how it goes.

I don't know what else to suggest. That is pretty much everything I know. The fact that aissle, despite graphics problems got this working under my instructions suggests that my method should work.
I'm guessing that the incomplete installation error is a separate error to the No CD error. All I can suggest is to make sure that you are using the Razor1911 iso or to download from a more trustworthy source.

1. first you need this program s3rc that repairs corrupted .sims3pack's like this one

3. open the download location for this torrent, open Downloads folder, and drag and drop Riverview.Sims3Pack to your desktop
4. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE TRIED INSTALLING THIS THROUGH TS3 LAUNCHER, IM PRETTY SURE YOU MUST REOPEN THE LAUNCHER AND GOTO DOWNLOADS AND DELETE RIVERVIEW, I HAD TO
(you also may want to delete the riverview file if you just dragged it to Shared\NonPackaged\Worlds previously)
5. start > run > cmd.exe (or start > find > cmd for vista/7)
6. goto your desktop folder in cmd prompt, "cd desktop" for me as i'm already at Users\Name
7. type "s3rc -f Riverview.Sims3Pack" into cmd prompt
8. type "s3rc -d Riverview.Sims3Pack" into cmd prompt
9. then I disabled my internet connection and double-clicked the Riverview.Sims3Pack on my desktop and voila! it installed flawlessly!! with a full working 2nd city and all buildings and descriptions fixed
it installs all the missing buildings and objects for riverview in your installed content tab as well :)
EDIT: internet connection doesnt even need to be disabled, i just did it to be safe

Ah. I figured it out. The way to get it working on Macs is nice and simple.
1.Install the game and input the serial number
2. BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE run the game. It will ask if you want to download the update. Say yes, and let it install.
3. Now, follow lolmacfag's instructions (found on comment pgs. 9-10) using the Razor1911 crack
4. Enjoy!

This didn't work for me so I undone this (grabbed the backups from TS3.exe and info.plist) and then start the application. If you do not get the main screen with the large (>) blue button, you have to rename "The Sims 3.app".
In that screen, you can see a button to download updates. Download the updates!
Then follow the instructions above again.
Works for me.
But maybe it also works when you first download and install the updates and then follow lolmacfag's instructions.

I downloaded this torrent and the files weren't anything I could extract with winrar. So I thought it would be smart to manually add .rar to the end of every all of the files 1-54 and now when I try to extract it says it's corrupt. Anything I can do to fix this besides redownload the whole thing?

I can't seem to shake the feeling that most people here d/l torrents WITHOUT knowing how it works!!!
Your d/l speed should not be the same as your u/l speed, it should be muuuucccchhh lower depending on your bandwith (excepting when you're seeding, than it should be the opposite) Instead of whining, check your settings, search on forums threads to best way to configure your torrent client!

If you are on a Mac, to unrar, just use UnRarX. It worked for me. Stuffit didn't work.

I suggest you run a hash check as this torrent seems to be working fine for almost everybody else. The most logical answer is that your particular download has gotten corrupted somewhere along the way, rather than everybody else got a lucky magic download...

Now I know there is no no-cd crack because you would only need the cd to start the game up, and it's not needed while playing the game.

You need to find and download 'winrar', then open the file with the .r00 extension on it. extract the information in that zip to somewhere you will remember, i.e. desktop. Then continue with installation and ect.

Do not use the game launcher (the default install shortcut links to this). Instead, go into the GAME\BIN directory and directly click the TS3.exe file.
The launcher automatically connects to EA to verify your product. Pirate copies won't pass this check (surprise!) and be shut down (Not to mention alerting EA's own MIBs to your ISP address).
So just skip the launcher, trash the default install shortcut and replace it one that goes directly to TS3.EXE instead.

I have installed this, no trouble at all; went perfectly fine. Updated it, also applied Razor's No DVD crack.
Game starts up fine, but I can't get any further than the Create-A-Sim section. After 10 minutes or so the game just closes, without any error or whatsoever. (This also happened before I updated it and installed the crack)
All my drivers are up to date, I meet all the system requirements, I uninstalled AVG, I don't use the launcher to start up the game, I've tried windowed mode, ... I tried every possible solution and yet I still get the same issue every time. It's quite frustrating... What am I doing wrong?
I have a Intel Pentium 4 CPU running at 3.09 GHz, 1.50 GB RAM and a ASUS Radeon 9600 XT.
If anyone could help me out with this, I'd be really grateful. Thanks.

I'm up and running with this and I've used both Razor's version and Reloaded version. I'm using a MAC with OS X and haven't had problems with the installs or anything but I'm trying to find out how to update the game to the latest patch so that the speed issue is fixed. Watching my sim sleep or go to work is a pain in the ass and both X3 and X4 speeds are the same. There was an update put out you can get through the launcher (we can't use it obviousely) and you can also download it from random sites but they are all .EXE files for windows. Does ANYONE know how to update on a MAC so that I don't have to fall asleep waiting for my sims to wake up? THANKS!

This Torrent worked great for me.
For all who are having problems, a .torrent file, can be downloaded with a program such as bittorrent, limewire, etc.
The .001 file can be extracted with "Winrar", google search it.
Once you have the .iso file extracted, download PowerISO, a program that you can mount .iso files to a drive with.
That basically means the .iso file acts like the information on a CD, but instead of putting it on a CD and loading it to your D: drive, you use the program to "virtually" insert the "CD" (iso) into your F: drive.
To do this, (once you have PowerISO) right click on the gold circle now in the bottom right corner, click on "Mount Image to Drive [F:]

I copied TS3 exe. and TSLHost.dll to Gamebin and I opened the game and it said 'Installation Verification Failed, Installation Incomplete, Re-install Again', something along those lines.

Whenever I try to extract the .001 file it says "you need to have the following volume to extract the file": and then gives the some file name that didn't come with the torrent. Can anyone help me?

then i tried to [while i was in game launcher click play and then loading started i was soo happy then suddenly a pop up message show up something like ''Not a valid disk''.Please help :( i want this game baddly

This works perfectly. I didn't even reinstall game, just used the cracks, when I installed all of the expansions, I just reinstalled the original cracks from the base game. Not one problem.
