"Around The World Tour - February 2005 Rarities Compilation" # # # This compilation contains a small series of special performances/performed songs captured solely during the month of february 2005 while the band was on their "Around The World Tour" to promote Around The Sun, their 2004 album. Included are performances from 3 shows. The first is a pack of three consisting of Undertow, Sweetness Follows and Swan Swan H from their intimate (compared to the rest of the tour played in arenas) show at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, right before the Sheffield show... The second documents a very special acoustic performance the band put up at the last minute at the Hallam Fm Arena of Sheffield instead of going ahead with just cancelling the show all this due to Mike Mills suffering from a combination of flu and an ear infection. The third is also a special threat, straight from the final night of this winter european leg of the world tour at the Point Theatre in Dublin and included are the most rarely played songs from the latest album: The Ascent Of Man and The Worst Joke Ever, here in his first and almost only performance ever (it was then performed only once more in Australia). # # # full tracklisting is as follows: Hammersmith Apollo, London 19/02/2005 01.
