would love to download mate but 88 GB is fucked. would also love the other seasons mainly 2. get it down to around 2-4 gig like other tv seasons torrents and more people will downloaddomthepom (2011-08-31)
Have you any tips for making them smaller Im happy to do that as i only get 200gb per month :(jmac85 (2011-09-30)
First off, what resolution are they? If these are 1080p, try reducing it to 720p and lower your bitrate to 1200 kpbs or so for 720p...should be fine for x264.jmac85 (2011-09-30)
If you're still willing to upload, please try seasons two and three. Experiment with each episode. 45 minute shows in 720p should be 1 GB or less.kiwij (2013-08-08)
Stick with 1080P (no point reducing to 720P then re-expanding back to 1080P). To reduce the size you should lower the video bitrate (use variable bitrate). For audio I like to use 5.1 AAC 192kbps variable bitrate. I prefer using handbrake. You should aim anywhere between 1-3GB per file. I think approx 1.5GB is optimal for a 45 min episode.kiwij (2013-08-08)
Here is an ok guide. If the disc has HD audio then I recommend use AAC 5.1 192kbps. Otherwise just do a non conversion of the standard 5.1 audio track.http://www.dvd-guides.com/guides/blu-ray-rip/259-rip-blu-ray-to-mp4-using-handbrake
