I just burned DVD1, but I made all the .CAB files empty, else it wouldnt fit on a single layer dvd. But i got this:

For those who has 26 mb LaunchGTAIV.
It's not tested but try to use this crack first (instructions inside) - on rapid ;)
After cracking the OfflineActivation.exe your LaunchGTAIV.exe might change its size to 4.88mb, i think.
And next copy this Paul.dll by VONSiD to main folder of the game.
Everything should be ok. ;)

you don't need a "crack" to change the lauchgtaiv.exe from 26mb to 4.8
how i did it:
1) make sure your internet is online
2) doubleclick the lauchgtaiv.exe the releasedate-verification should pop up it checks some kind of things and then click on abort or exit or whatever
3) i disconnected my pc from the internet at this point so make sure you are offline
4) NOW the lauchgtaiv.exe should have 4.8mb AND a paul.dll should have been generatet in the main folder (NOT in the offline activation)
5) copy the paul.dll from this downloaded archive into the main folder (over the paul.dll that was generated)
6) doubleclick on lauchgtaiv.exe (which already is about 4.8mb) maybe you need the serial now can't remember -.- sry^^ if the social club thing pops up just ignore it and over-jump it (sry don't now the word in english... so click on next or whatever it tells you i didn't register)
7) a spash screen shoul pop up where you can click on play but you wont be able to play because it asks for the "real" dvd

yes it happens, you dont have to copy the paul.dll in the "offline activation" and stuff, you have to copy it in the main folder with the exe, but first you have to do the other thing that we thought was fake but wasnt, you use the other method and the ".exe" changes from 26mb to 4,8mb, then when you copy THIS file in the folder with the exe and launch it says "insert original dvd" . so i think we have to use both

A lot of PC game pirates were no doubt waiting for this to happen. A Clone DVD of Grand Theft Auto 4 (GTA 4) has leaked to a well known public BitTorrent tracker. From what it looks like, the leaked files seem to be untouched copies (clones) of original game DVDs. GTA 4 comes in two DVD discs. Images of both discs have leaked and the download is a whopping 13.8GB. It appears that the leaked release is a Multilanguage version of the game with English, French, German, Italian and Spanish languages (Multi 5). Whoever uploaded the torrent has included several screenshots of game folders (in windows explorer) as well as a screenshot of the setup program to prove that it?s the real deal.

Anyway, as we previously reported, this game is protected by SecuROM DRM. Even if you download the leaked release, there is currently no way to play the game. The game will install just fine but to actually play, you need to activate it online. As mentioned above this is an untouched copy of the original DVD with no modified exe or crack included to circumvent SecuROM protection. However, SecuROM protection has previously been cracked by groups such as RELOADED and non scene individuals such as DarkC0der so it might actually be a matter of time before this one is cracked. Anyway a lot of people (over 15000 leechers already lol) seem to be downloading the leaked image perhaps in hoping that they could play GTA 4 the moment a crack becomes available.

First you bypass the offline activation, put the paul.dll in your main folder and in your offline activation folder, then run the offline activation, enter the fake serial numbers..
After that you sould be able to run the GTAIV and you get a message saying you need to insert the valid DVD..
So you download these

also once you start it, alt+tab and kill social club.

People it doesn't matter. You can launch it but it's not playable. Rockstar made the game so that it recognizes that it's cracked. The camera will move very fast and it will make you seasick :p It's not very playable like this.

I have no problems saving the game... You have to create an offline Windows Live account to be able to save though. It will tell you how to in game. Everybody getting the swaying camera problem?

Thanks for this, works a treat in conjunction with the ScR "launchGTA4" crack they have over there,
seems first time you run the game, after the first autosave point, you get "drunk mode" , however once you quit game, and then restart it, it seems to run fine although theres no savegame function atm :S
I think that drunk mode has something to do with the auto save feature, like a secrom check at that point, but once disabled it seems ok (it cant remember saves but it remembers you selected to not autosave?!??)

ABOUT THE CAM:
Don't know which worked, I did both and I played now several hours without cam shaking, etc. which I had before doing this:
1. Delete the file "SRmodex.dll" in your "...\Grand Theft Auto IV\common" folder
(MAKE A BACKUP)
2. Start your desktop shortcut of LaunchGTAIV.exe in compatible mode Windows 2000
I read some people doesn't have the file "SRmodex.dll". I had, so I can't tell what to do else.
This worked for me, just try it.
Now the game runs as it should, even if the performance and the appearance (no antialiasing) sucks!

all these graphical issues are the result of one thing and one thing only the fact that the copy's released so far of the game have been altered by Rockstar so as to screw with us its just been released in the states yesterday id give it maby a week before one of the groups puts out a good copy and a crack for it might just be best to wait till then if you dont want glitches

The drunk camera effect is NOT due to a certain brand of video cards, it is an anti crack protection, it can be taked off by putting your exe files to Windows 2000 compatibility or getting the new files from there

The Fed0r crack was working but some admin removed it from TPB, thinking it's a fake because of it's small size. It had the cam fixed and everything.
If an admin sees this, please test the fed0r crack for yourself and then put it back up when you realize that it works.
