What is the trick to playing these without the skipping and constant slowing down and speeding up. I'm using cccp with media player classic but have not been able to get it working right with any player

@statek x264 is a bitch. The only solution I've found is to re-encode.

By the way, the files are Matroska (mkv). The quality of these files is extremely good, but again they are a bitch to play.
I successfully re-encoded the mkv files to AVI, and then was able to play them/burn DVD. I used FFMpegX (Mac) to re-encode; not sure what you'd use for a PC.
