Installer requires 256 colors, just use the windows compatibility system for that. Main application does not need 256 colors. Ever wanted to play with electronics? Well, this is far more interesting than any "electric genius" box you will find! Loads of widgets to play around with. Connect stuff and see what kind of crazy machines you can create! Run out of inspiration? Try one of the many bundled puzzles and see if you can solve them all. Some of them are darned tricky. Bundled experiment book not included, partly because it wasn't that fun to begin with. Warning: May cause an uncontrollable desire to start programing for real.

Oh yeah, the Wine compatibility is fine, so the Linux folks should have no issue either.
And since I am making a note I might just clarify that while the experiment book is not bundled, the puzzles IS.
