There is not one shred of real scientific evidence for this religion masquerading as science. It's all hopes and fairy tales. Maybe voodoo science, but not science at all.sthar (2009-04-18)
@ Tamarind777Quote from TTC - The Evidence for Evolution:
"So this is just a variety of different types of evidence that I really think do prove that at least much of biology makes no sense accept in an evolutionary context. Now I wanna conclude one thought of a more philosophical nature; what I wanna discuss is what we mean by the terms "fact, theory and hypothesis". Now in common terms people think of facts as things that can be directly demonstrated; Apples are red, rocks are hard, etc. But these statements are completely mundane, what about for example "atoms", well we can?t see atoms, we can?t really hold them in our hands, how do we know they exist? Or what about gravity? I don?t think anyone doesn?t believe in gravity but you certainly can?t see gravity. Why do we think atoms and gravity are well established facts? Now on the other hand theory are commonly thought as just ideas, hunches maybe their true, maybe they?re not. And one theory is just as good as any other. Now this perspective however overlooks the idea that some ideas are extremely well supported, they?ve been tested scientifically and they?ve withstood these tests. Where as other ideas are not. Well I think there are two perspectives one could take with regard to these terms. One possibility is to argue that something should be considered a fact in the available evidence overwhelmingly supports that conclusion. Gravity for example; everyone would agree is a fact, or atoms; we have no doubt that atoms exist. Now I would argue that the evidence for evolution is similarly so overwhelming from so many different types of study that also might be considered a fact. Now in this context, it?s important to realize are many different theories of how evolution occurs, one of which is driven by natural selection. But the idea that evolution has occurred would be considered a well established fact. That one perspective, the other perspective has to do with the term theory. /.../ Evolution is one scientific theory to explain the diversity of life we see around us, certainly there are other ideas, but do they constitute scientific theories. Not all phenomenon, for example can be studied by science, for example think about miracles. Well miracles might happen, I certainly can?t tell you that they don?t, but science cannot study them. And it?s certainly possible that the entire world was created 10 sec ago with all of our memories intact and all of the evidence for evolution created to make it look like evolution had occurred."
Maybe you should reconsider what you believe are "scientific evidences".
