first of all, i want to say, great clean torrent. secondly, i need help lol I downloaded and installed the game fine. as soon as I try to play, it sends me an error message that says d3dx9_38.dll was not found. can anyone help me please? I am running 64 bit Vista. Thank you

A .dll file is a file that allows separate programs to run at the same time, and share resources. Sometimes, in a case where you have a large file like this, that requires much of the processor's capabilities, conflict can occur. So a .dll tells the computer what has priorities, etc.
Essentially your fucked hard pal. Just delete it.

Listen up EVERY ONE if this game crashes for you allot it may have something to do with your gamer osd and smart doctor if you have these Programs uninstall them It will fix all your crashing problems. you may still encounter random freezing
Reason why you uninstall these is for some unknown reason these programs interfere with the way the game communicates with the Graphics card i spent hours upon hours looking threw all my error code and for some reason gamer osd and Smart doctor were the number one reasons for crash and CTD errors.
I will look further into why these programs cause the crashes and get back to you all

forgot to mention that ASUS graphics cards will encounter random freezing even after these programs are removed and will still pose difficult playing but will be bearable

When I try to start a new game, it exits out and says " Fallout 3 has stopped working" and I've tryed downloading the dx3.dll file or whatever but it cannot extract the the fallout 3 folder. Im running a 32 bit vista, i think. Any help will be appreshiated. lol spelled wrong.

oShotgunidieRo dont try extracting to the fallout folder directly extract to your desktop then add it into the folder. (extracting directly conflicts with the vista administration system)

good torrent. mounted it to poweriso, installed then played. if you wanna play online you gonna need a cd key. but it works without one.

I get as far as clicking "Play" in the menu and when the black box opens, it crashes. I used Daemon tools lite to mount it, and I downloaded the new Fallout update as well as Microsoft Games For Windows, which Bethesda recommended on their website to download if you got the "ordinal5360 could not be located in the dynamic link library xlive.dll" error message. Their recommendation got me as far as the title screen. HELP
