Monty Python's Flying Circus (Complete, DVDrip, English subs)

This is a DVD rip of all 4 Seasons/45 Episodes of the famous show plus the two Episodes made for the german TV (Monty Python's Fliegender Zirkus), made to fit on one DVD. Quality is not great but it's near to the source so it should be sufficient for the non-geek fan anyhow. I made frame dumps so you can see the difference. I tried really hard to correct every single mistake the OCR software made, but I'm sure you will still find some due to the sheer amount of text (1,7 MB SubRip files). I also tried to define some chapters so that one can jump directly to a certain sketch without searching (if the player supports chapters), which is not easy given the sketch-merging format of the shows, but maybe you find it useful anyhow. are those subs embedded because i can't get rid of them by disabling them in the .mkv player
i can understand english in english, who would add english subs to an english show.

They are not embedded and can be disabled.
Subtitles are useful if you are not fluent in English. Or if you are just plain fucking deaf.

Did anyone else hear high-pitched squeaky noises intermittently throughout the episodes? I've watched about half a dozen and they all have this same problem. I'm using VLC player. Please advise. Thanks!

@ClassicsOnly The same thing was happening to me. It sounds like it was ripping my speakers. I don't think there is anything to fix it. I'm just going to download this:

English subs to english shows are necessary to people who speak other languages and can't figure everything they're listening. Not all of us are born in USA or England. Subtitles are also extremely helpful to people with hearing disabillities. So stop thinking only about yourself and quit bitching about something that is helpful to a lot of people.

For Fliegender Zirkus, the audio for #1 is german and #2 is english.
