Damn you! Shuazien, you made me look like a fool. A goddamn fool.charliedawg (2009-05-29)
thanks goose for another jemtechnical question:
if I am listening to a show (media player classic) and I skip ahead to more than half way through the show, it starts the show at the beginning (X of Gold). I can usually skip ahead to halfway or less and it doesn't start over.
know what I mean? Why does this happen?

Thanks Goose!Charliedawg- Have you tried another player like qtime or mpc?
mothergoose56 (2009-05-29)
It probably only happens with the 128k VBR files, they seek differently than CBR mp3's and some players may have issues with them. I tried a CBR 128K with one of the worst of's and the file came out bigger and didn't sound quite as good so it's a trade-off I guess.Hell, the number one mp3 player on the planet (the ipod) doesn't even properly support id3 v2 tags, which is just nuts. Why even have "standards" if everyone isn't going to comply with them?
